Is Sir, We Have an Orc Problem on mobile?
Last checked: October 2026
No. It is a Steam game, PC only, and Mumpitz Games has not announced an Android or iOS version. If you came here looking for one, the short version is: it does not exist yet, the APKs you may find online are fakes, and if you want to shoot orcs on your phone tonight, we made a game for that.
What Sir, We Have an Orc Problem is
Sir, We Have an Orc Problem came out on Steam on 28 July 2026. Two people at Mumpitz Games made it. You defend a fortress against an absurd number of orcs, tens of thousands on screen, with turrets you upgrade between runs. It sells for about ten dollars and its Steam reviews sit at "Very Positive". It is a good game, and the reason you are probably reading this page is that it is only playable on a PC.
Why there is no APK
Search for the game's name with "mobile" or "APK" and you will find download sites promising an Android build. None of them come from Mumpitz Games. The game was built for mouse and keyboard, and a hundred thousand orcs is a lot to ask of a phone. If the studio ever ships a port, it will be on Google Play and the App Store under their own name, not on a file sharing forum. Until then, an "Orc Problem APK" is at best someone else's game with a stolen title, at worst a way to put malware on your phone.
An orc tower defense you can play on your phone now
We are Rapace Studio, a small independent studio, and we make Orc Defense: Endless TD. People who play both have told us it scratches the same itch: one review on Google Play says it "plays like sir we have a orc problem but on a phone". We take the compliment, but it is a different game, built for a screen you hold in one hand.
Here is how it plays. Orcs come down a lane toward your keep. You place turrets along the lane, cannons, flamethrowers, tesla coils, and watch the horde thin out or not. Waves never stop, a boss shows up every ten of them, and a run ends when the keep falls. Between runs you spend what you earned in the forge, pull cards that change how a turret behaves, and feed totems in the sanctuary for permanent bonuses. There is a weekly leaderboard if you like comparing wave counts.
It is free. You can watch an ad for a bonus if you want one, and there are a few things to buy, but nothing is locked behind either. It plays offline, in English and French, and a run fits in the time it takes to boil pasta.
How the two compare
- Platform: Sir, We Have an Orc Problem is on Steam for PC. Orc Defense is on Android and iOS.
- Price: the Steam game is a one time purchase. Orc Defense is free, with optional ads and purchases.
- Scale: the Steam game throws tens of thousands of physics driven orcs at you at once. Orc Defense runs a few thousand at most, enough to fill a phone screen without melting it.
- Structure: both are run based, with upgrades that carry over. Orc Defense adds cards, totems and a weekly leaderboard.
- Sessions: the Steam game is a sit down at your desk game. Orc Defense is built for five minutes on the bus.
Orc Defense is made by Rapace Studio and has no connection to Mumpitz Games or Sir, We Have an Orc Problem. If Mumpitz announces a mobile version, we will update this page and say so.
Questions people ask
Is Sir, We Have an Orc Problem coming to mobile?
Nothing has been announced. Their Steam page and their posts only talk about the PC version.
Can I play it on a phone through streaming?
If you own it on Steam, Steam Link lets you stream it from your PC to your phone over your home network. It is a mouse and keyboard game, so expect it to be clumsy with touch.
Is Orc Defense a copy?
No. We played the Steam game and loved it, and if you have a PC we recommend you buy it on Steam. It is one of the things that fed our own design, the way The Tower and Kingdom Rush did. But Orc Defense is a lane tower defense with its own turrets, economy and progression. Both games put orcs in front of turrets, which is about where the overlap ends.
